Terms

We prepare a personalised information report on the situation you describe. You can buy a report on its own, for a one-off fee, or become a member. We are not a law firm, and we do not give legal advice or act for you — what that means.

A report on its own

The price is shown before you pay. We email your report to you as a PDF, and you can also view or download it from your order page for 48 hours.

You have a 14-day right to cancel. Because a report is prepared to order, you can ask us to start straight away. If you do, you can still cancel before your report is delivered — contact us with your order reference. Once your report is completed and delivered, the right to cancel ends.

When we refund you automatically. We refund a report you bought on its own in full, without you having to ask, and email you to say so, if:

  • we can’t produce a report we’re willing to send you — for example, if we can’t check the current law for your situation, or a problem on our side stops us finishing it;
  • the report we send you is shorter than it should be — you keep the report as well; or
  • the details your report is based on are deleted before it’s delivered — for example, because you delete your account or withdraw your permission. We stop work on it.

Membership

Membership is a monthly subscription, at the price shown when you join. It renews each month until you cancel. It includes up to 3 active cases at a time — you can close a case you’ve finished with to open another — and a fresh standard report on a case whenever you ask for one, up to a daily limit per case that we show on the case page. A report included in your membership has no separate charge, so the automatic refunds above don’t apply to it.

You can cancel any time, as easily as you joined. Cancelling stops future payments; you keep full use until the end of the period you’ve paid for.

What happens to your cases when your membership ends:

  • If you cancel, we delete your cases, the reports we’ve saved for you and your report history at the end of the period you’ve paid for.
  • If your membership ends early — because we refund it, it’s cancelled with immediate effect, or a payment can’t be taken — we keep them for 7 days, so you can download a copy or rejoin, and then delete them.
  • Withdrawing your permission ends your membership and deletes your cases straight away.

In the first two cases we email you before the deletion date. Reports we’ve emailed you stay in your inbox. The full detail is in Privacy & your data.
